There has been much about the Xiaomi MIUI 13 in the past few weeks. The company is yet to announce when it will officially present its next iteration of MIUI, but it looks like they’ll maintain last year’s launch date. They announced MIUI 12.5 on December 28 last year, along with the Mi 11. According to current reports, the company will allegedly announce MIUI 13 on the same date, and we expect the arrival of Xiaomi 12 series devices. Also, the Xiaomi MIUI 13 beta registration is likely to start that day, with current flagship phones tipped to receive the Stable version after launch.
Xiaomi is making a big adjustment to the software system upgrades. They always organize beta tests before releasing a new version of MIUI to the public. However, it seems that’ll change with the introduction of 13, as current flagship Xiaomi phones are expected to receive a stable build after launch.
Supposedly, these phones have been testing the MIUI 13 build for some weeks, and today, Xiaomi has released the stable version. Unfortunately, only the Redmi K40 Pro/Plus, Xiaomi Mi 11, and Mi 11 Ultra have the stable MIUI 13 build ready. It means only these three phones will receive the stable version after the launch. However, other devices have been testing the new version of MIUI internally and might receive the stable version on that day. Below are Xiaomi phones that will receive stable MIUI 13 on December 28
Xiaomi phones that will receive stable MIUI 13
- Mi 11 Ultra
- Mi 11
- Redmi K40 Pro
- Redmi K40 Pro+
- Mi Mix 4*
- Redmi K40*
- Redmi K40 Gaming Edition / POCO F3 GT*
- Mi 10S*
- Mi 11 Lite 5G*
- Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G / POCO X3 GT*
And while these phones have been tipped to receive a stable build after the official release, Xiaomi MIUI 13 beta registration will commence also. Xiaomi has suspended the beta test and will restart testing on December 28. That’s probably when the link will be opened for users that wish you to participate in the MIUI 13 beta registration.
That said, we will be keeping an eye on the development to update this space with new information. However, only those running the Chinese ROM can participate in MIUI 13 beta registration. Global ROM users will get the update after the international presentation, likely to happen on Q1 2021.
