Xiaomi, a couple of days ago, presented the latest version of its MIUI Android skin – MIUI 12.5, globally. The company already launched the new UI in China some weeks ago and is currently in a closed beta test. It presents some fascinating features like MIUI+, which allows you to display the phone’s content on a PC. The power consumption has also been reduced, while gesture control is now smooth. And aside from the features officially presented during the launch, we have seen a new haptic feedback system arrived for beta testers in the past weeks and probably part of the MIUI 12.5 features.
Meanwhile, according to the official global rollout plan, the stable version of the MIUI 12.5 will start seeding in Q2 (April), 2021. Thus far, about 18 Xiaomi phones have been listed to receive the update globally between April and June. Some of these phones include Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and Mi 11 ( first wave). Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite Redmi Note 9T, Mi 10T Lite, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Mi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 9S, Mi Note 10, Redmi Note 9, Mi, Note 10 Lite, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi 9, POCO F2 Pro, POCO X3/NFC (second wave).
Meanwhile, note that MIUI and Android upgrades are agnostic, and hence, you should take this information with a pinch of salt. However, given the time frame of the stable rollout and how swiftly Xiaomi has been rolling out the Android 11 update, we’re optimistic that most of the phones on the list below will receive a new OS update alongside MIUI 12.5. And below is an alleged list of Xiaomi phones to receive Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 update.
