Xiaomi is working hard to push Android 10 to all their compatible phone. Yesterday, the Mi Max 3 surprisingly received the Android Q update, a phone that debuted in 2018 with Android Oreo. It has been one major update to mid-rangers, but the device just got two. We expect more Xiaomi phones to receive Android Q update in the coming weeks.

Xiaomi MI A2 Lite
The first Android 10 build that arrived on the device had so many issues and was pulled. According to Xiaomi, they’ll will start rolling out the update again this month once all the bugs are fixed. You can click here to read the full statement.
Xiaomi MI Note 10
The first Xiaomi phone to commercially debut the 108MP camera lens, but unfortunately, it arrived with Android pie on top MIUI 11. However, a recent report has it that the phone is testing Android 10, which will start rolling for everyone very soon.
Redmi Note 8
A great number of people believe Note 8 will receive the Android Q update before the Note 8 Pro because of the MediaTek Chipset. Meanwhile, the latter is on Android 10 now while the former had just entered Beta testing.
Redmi 8
The Redmi 8 is arguably the best entry-level phone released in 2019. It arrived with Android 9 and is currently testing Android Q.
Redmi 8A
Also testing Android 10 along with Note 8 and 8A. The three phones may get a new OS at the same time.
Redmi Note 7 Pro and Note 7
Both phones have received the Android 10 Beta Update in China. We’re waiting for the update to start hitting the Global variant, and it’s likely to be this month.
It’s commendable how Xiaomi has managed to push Android 10 to its device amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. And since China has experienced a successful recovery from the pandemic, we expect more Xiaomi phones to receive an Android Q update before next month.
