Xiaomi remains the go-to brand when it comes to value for money smartphones. The company has two sub-brand that offer affordable phones without compromise. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to pick a device to purchase as the company has many phones with compelling specs at an affordable price tag. We are only in Q2, and the Chinese OEM already has a bunch of phones under $350 in the market that you can buy.
The Xiaomi MI series lineup is where the company offers premium smartphones. Of course, they have affordable phones but are always rebadged to either Redmi or POCO phones. POCO phones are basically for performance, while the Redmi lineup offers mostly value for more smartphones. Below, we have a list of Xiaomi phones under $350 you can buy in 2022.
Xiaomi phones under $350 to buy in 2022
Many Xiaomi phones start at $350, but we have narrowed it for you for an easy search. The list looks basically at the price of these smartphones and their specs. We also try to look at their support period, as it has proved to be one of the factors for choosing a new phone in the past couple of years.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE
The device is among the Mi 11 series. It is currently on sale starting from $280, and considering the compelling specs, we recommend the device for someone looking for an affordable phone to purchase. It has an AMOLED display and runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G Octa-Core processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. Outside of the box, the device runs Android 11 on top of MIUI, and given the current update policy, it will receive up to Android 14.
For optics, the device has a triple camera sensor at the back. It consists of a primary 64MP shooter, 8MP Ultrawide, and 5MP telephoto macro sensor, while the front camera has a single 20MP shooter. There’s a 4250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, which would be enough to juice the device in under an hour. You can check the full specification here and also order from this link.
POCO X3 Pro
POCO X3 Pro, is the most popular device from the Xiaomi sub-brand for the past couple of months, thanks to the high-end Snapdragon 860 Octa-Core processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The device runs Android 11 on top of MIUI outside of the box and would receive at least two Android OS updates. It’s currently running Android 12 with MIUI 13 and would likely receive one additional OS update. You can grab a deal if you are looking for a device that will give you robust performance for a few years.
It’s also a better device compared to the Mi 11 Lite 5G NE. Perhaps when you leave out the camera – a primary 48MP sensor, as against 64MP on the latter. There’s a beefy 5160mAh battery with 33W charging support. You can grab a deal from here at $305.
Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G
Perhaps, the most interesting phone in the series lineup. It features compelling specs and surprisingly manages to appear on our Xiaomi phones under $350. The device is available at official Xiaomi stores at $341, and you can grab a deal from this link. However, it’s MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G SoC under the hood, paired with 8GB RAM. There’s a primary 108MP camera sensor capable of 4k@30fps paired with an 8MP Ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro shooter.
Another fascinating feature of the sub $350 phone is the 120W fast charging support, which is expected to juice the 4500mAh battery in 15 minutes. Unfortunately, it runs Android 11 outside of the box, meaning it could get only up to Android 13.
Other Xiaomi phones under $350
There are many sub $350 Xiaomi phones on the market currently. The recently launched Redmi 40s is a refreshed version of the Redmi K40/POCO F3. It is expected to arrive on the international market as POCO F4, which isn’t bad if there would be a POCO F4 Pro. You can purchase the Redmi K40s starting at $335 on Aliexpress. Meanwhile, it runs Chinese ROM, meaning only two language options – Chinese and English are available. Interestingly, it supports Google Play services, so you can purchase the device without worrying about that.
