A new Redmi phone debut in China starts at $140

The Xiaomi sub-brand has released some affordable phones in the last few months. After the release of the Redmi Note 13 series, the company debuted the Redmi K70 series phones. While these are currently exclusive to the Chinese market, the Redmi 13C is available on the international market. As expected, the device has now made its debut in China, but as Redmi 13R 5G. 

Xiaomi Redmi 13R 5G

Xiaomi Redmi 13R 5G features a 6.74-inch LCD panel that refreshes at 90Hz. Because it supports 5G connectivity, the processor is different from that of the global Redmi 13C. It’s the Dimensity 6100+ Octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM.

There’s a dual camera sensor at the back, which consists of a primary 50MP sensor. The front camera is fitted inside a centered teardrop notch. Power is drawn from a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, but the package comes with a 10W adapter.
