Xiaomi has released a list of its device that will soon start getting the MIUI 11, which among them includes the Redmi 5 Plus. The new User interface will focus mainly on Artificial Intelligence, and won’t see major revamp as regards the MIUI 10.
The new UI will also see Xiaomi reduce the number of ads being displayed on their phones. According to the MIUI 11 slogan, “A new and unique operating system” means the MIUI 11 will also focus on improving system performance and renewal of some MIUI’s native app.
However, it won’t be only Redmi 5 Plus that’ll be receiving the new User interface. It’ll first hit Xiaomi and Redmi phones running Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 plus, 855, 845, 835, 821, 712, 710, 675, 665, 660, and 625.
Therefore, going by the processor, Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9 SE, MI 9T, Mi Mix 3, Xiaomi CC9, Redmi K20 Pro, and K20 will be the first device to receive MIUI public beta. After then, it’ll be turn for Xiaomi Mi CC9e, Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer, Mi 8 SE, Mi Mix 2s, Mi Max 3, Mi Note 3, Mi 8 Lite, Mi 6, Mi Play, Mi 6X, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Redmi 7, and Redmi Note 5 (Pro version).
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix, Mi Mix Max, Mi 5X, Mi 5X Plus, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi Note 5A, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi S2, will receive the MIUI 11 much later and which device with MediaTek, A2, and Xiaomi’s Surge S1 will start getting the new UI.
We expect the MIUI 11 to starts rolling out in four weeks, considering the schedule. And if Xiaomi manages to get the update to all the device on the list will see almost all Xiaomi device with the new UI.
