The Xiaomi brand has given us an official teaser of the Xiaomi Redmi A1 and you will be amazed by how this budget device looks. First, we’re presented with renders showing us the hardware design and then a live photo, courtesy of GSMArena.
Features of the Xiaomi Redmi A1
What attracts you to the Xiaomi Redmi A1, at first sight, has to be its soft pastel colours and its leather texture style finish. Moving away from the hardware design, the official teaser page shows that the Xiaomi Redmi A1 houses a whopping 5000 mAh battery, a feature present in some of the higher lineups of this generation.
In addition to the information provided by the teaser page, GSMArena was able to obtain a leak that provided a lot more details about the budget smartphone. The screen is a 6.52 inch, 1600×720 pixel HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Weighing 192g, the device is measured at 164.9mm×76.75mm×9.09mm.
Still featured in the hardware, the device has the 3.5 mm headphone jack, micro SD and dual sim card slots with 10W charging to power its 5000 mAh battery.
Camera? The Xiaomi Redmi A1 has an 8MP main camera with an f/2.2 depth sensor camera supplementing the main sensor alongside the 5MP selfie camera at the front. In addition, this smartphone gets Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 2.4GHz and the sweet Android 12. The price of the Xiaomi Redmi A1 remains in a grey area but it should be made known to us soon.
