Here’s our first look at the Xiaomi Redmi A3

Xiaomi seems to be taking a different approach with the launch of its entry-level smartphone. While there isn’t much new about the Redmi A3, the Chinese company looks like it will launch the device soon, thanks to the leaked retail box.

After Xiaomi suspended the stock Android A-series lineup, they introduced the Redmi A-series, which runs almost stock Android. They have launched the Redmi A1 and Redmi A2 series, and it seems the time is right for the Redmi A3 to debut. And while the previous phones have the same design, we will see a different look this time.

According to the pictures on GSMArena, the Redmi A3 will feature a circular camera Island at the back. While it’s probably the same size as that on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, we do not expect a camera sensor of the Ultra. Xiaomi will likely equip the device with a 12MP primary sensor and a depth shooter since it looks to be upgrading from the previous models.

The device will feature a 6.71-inch display with a 90hz refresh rate. It will offer a bigger memory configuration compared to previous models, with 4GB/128GB touted. Unfortunately, that’s all we know about the Redmi A3, but we expect more details in the coming days. Of course, there will be at least a black color option.
