Xiaomi has released the Redmi Note 10S MIUI 13 update globally. Download below…
Xiaomi is allegedly working on an MIUI 13-point upgrade (MIUI 13.5). It’s been only a couple of months since the current version of MIUI started rolling out, and the Chinese company is already working on the successor. Expected to debut as MIUI 13.5, a new logo for the upgrade has appeared inside Mi code, and we believe the launch is imminent. That should facilitate the MIUI 13 rollout with many users, including Redmi Note 10S, still waiting for the update.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series phones were among the first few phones to receive a stable MIUI 13 update. It’s been three months since the update was released, but the Redmi Note 10S MIUI 13 update is yet to start rolling out. The device debuted with Android 11 on top of MIUI 12, and hence, would receive Android 12 with the stable MIUI 13 update. Interestingly, the update is ready with Xiaomi expected to start seeding a new update to the device with a version number MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKLMIXM.
From the version number, the current Redmi Note 10S MIUI 13 build is based on Android 12 and will be released to the global models soon. Unfortunately, there’s no time frame as to when the update would start seeding, but we anticipate a release in the coming days. Also, there’s no news about the availability in other regions, but that should follow after the global release.
How do I get Redmi Note 10S MIUI 13 update when it’s released?
Xiaomi has a group of people called Mi Pilots. They’re there to preview newly released MIUI updates before the wide availability. Hence, you need to be among this group before you can receive the update immediately after it’s released. Also, you can visit the updater app; Settings>>About Phone>>MIUI logo>>click on the three dots at the top right and select update settings. Scroll down and enable the toggle to ‘receive updates early.’ With that, you will be among the few people to receive the Redmi Note 10S MIUI 13 when it starts rolling out.
