Xiaomi has released the Redmi Note 13 Pro in China, along with the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. Both models share some specs, but the Pro Plus variant seems a powerful device.
After many teasers, Xiaomi has now released the Redmi Note 13 Pro. The successor of Redmi Note 12 Pro features a flat display, unlike the Pro Plus with a curved OLED panel. It’s a 6.67-inch 1.5K panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 12 bits of color depth. The device can reach peak brightness of 1800 nits under light and it’s protected by a Corning Gorilla Victus.
Under the hood, Xiaomi uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Octa-Core processor. It’s coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Outside of-the box, the device runs Android 13 on top of MIUI 14. It will receive Android 14 when it becomes available and MIUI 15 as well.
There’s a primary 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor with an 8MP Ultra-wide and 2MP depth sensor. The front selfie sensor features a single 16MP shooter, meaning it’s the same camera on the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. Of course, there’s an optical image stabilization.
Interestingly, the Redmi Note 13 Pro gets a beefy 5100mAh battery but can only charge at 67W speed. Also, no Wi-Fi 6 support on the model, as it only supports Wi-Fi 5. There’s no IP68 rating, with the Redmi Note 13 Pro only certifying IP54. It makes the device resistant to splash and dust.
Other features of the Redmi Note 13 Pro include Bluetooth 5.2, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Dual stereo speakers, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro price and availability
The Redmi Note 13 Pro is available in China starting at CNY 1,099 ($151) for the base 6GB/128GB option. There’s an 8GB/128GB variant for CNY 1,199 ($165) and 8GB/256GB model for CNY 1,399 ($192).
