Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro officially announced in Thailand

Xiaomi has officially announced the predecessor of  Note 5 Pro –  Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. The device sports some new specs, while maintaining some old features like the Snapdragon 636 SoC. Its the first Xiaomi phone to sport a total of four camera lenses powered by AI.


The dual rear camera features a 12MP f/1.9 lens, accompanied by a 5MP depth sensor. Its pixel has been revamped bringing it to 1.4um pixel compared to 1.12um that features in Note 5 Pro, and a dual pixel Auto Focus. The front selfie camera for the first time features dual 20MP main shooter with 4 in 1 pixel binning and a 2MP depth sensor.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a tall 6.26-inch IPS LCD display with a notch. According to Xiaomi, the display can reach 500nit brightness with an 86% body-to-screen ratio. To ensure maximum durability, the display is guarded with Corning Gorilla 2.5D glass.


Under the hood, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features Snapdragon 636 cutting-edge processor which debuted with Redmi Note 5 Pro. It’s paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, expandable via Micro SD up to 256GB.


Packed inside the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro to deliver maximum power is a 4000mAh battery. It charges through Micro USB port and will deliver 6 hours game time and 9 hours on video playbacks.


The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro pricing starts at $215 and will be available in colors of black, Red, Pink, and Blue.
