The latest device to start getting the stable MIUI 14 update is the Redmi Note 9T 5G. It’s rolling out in Europe but exclusively to Mi Pilot members for preview. The public will start receiving the build after the beta test, which will last a few days.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T 5G debuted in 2021, running Android 10 on top of MIUI 12. It has received two Android OS upgrades, as it currently runs Android 12, meaning it has elapsed its OS support. Hence, the Redmi Note 9T MIUI 14 update is rolling out with the Android 13 upgrade.
The update is available in Europe with a version number MIUI 14.0.3.0 SJEEUXM and weighs 421MB. It brings the March 2023 security patch to increase system security while advancing search in settings. Of course, there has been the introduction of Photon Engine, Super Icons, New Widget format, optimizations, and bug fixes.
It’s unclear when the Redmi Note 9T MIUI 14 update will arrive on global units, but we expect the rollout to start in the coming days. You can follow us on Telegram to know when the update starts rolling out in your region.
