Google published the September 2024 security patch bulletin a few days ago, detailing all the fixes coming to the Android ecosystem with the release. Xiaomi phones are getting the update, but unlike Pixel phones, only select phones are currently getting the update.
The September 2024 security patch update resolved about 36 security vulnerabilities, ranging from high to critical. We recommend installing the update when prompted, but only Xiaomi 14 Ultra users are getting the update.
The update is live in multiple regions, including Global, Europe, and India. It is rolling with version numbers OS1.0.11.0.UNAMIXM, OS1.0.12.0.UNAEUXM and OS1.0.10.0.UNAINXM, respectively. As usual, only a few people are getting the update for preview before the public release commences in the coming days/weeks.
You can download the update from the updater app or use the link below to download the Recovery ROM for your device and install it manually. Ensure you back up your data before installing the update, so you don’t lose your data if things go wrong.
