The Android 13 has had an interesting timeline and with every release, unique features were introduced. That said, it’s conventional for different phone brands to combine their stock Android with Android 13 to give something sleek(speaking of the likes of OneUI 5, ColorOS 13, OxygenOS 13 and MIUI 13). We’ll be having another stock Android from Xiaomi, MIUI 14 before the year ends.
The Xiaomi MIUI 14 is to debut on November 19 according to a report from China, although that’s not the only big event scheduled for that date. November 19 is also the date set aside by Xiaomi to unveil the Xiaomi 13 series(this means that the Xiaomi 13 series might be getting the new software out of the box).
Details of MIUI 14
There are some big changes Xiaomi integrated into this new custom Android and this will surely wow the “MIUI philes”. First up, this software will not be accommodating any ads. Ads have been how Xiaomi used to generate revenue but can be sometimes annoying. Users have managed to cope with it as Xiaomi offers high-end features on their smartphones – Redmi, Poco and Xiaomi.
Secondly, via MIUI 14, new Xiaomi smartphones will be free of bloatware. Apart from the usual Xiaomi and Google stock apps, there used to be some superfluous third-party apps in Xiaomi smartphones, but not anymore. This particular tweak will help Xiaomi extend to more markets as users are trying to make their phones as free of irrelevance as possible.
Lastly, there have been some reports that the MIUI 14 will be upgrading the UI and some stock apps, widgets and utilities among many other tweaks. The Xiaomi smartphones sure to receive this software are the upcoming Xiaomi 13 series, Xiaomi 12 lineup, Xiaomi Mi 11, Poco F3 and F4 as well as the Redmi K40 and K50 series
