What’s the name of Xiaomi’s Mi 10-series under €300 phone with 5G connectivity

Two weeks ago, Xiaomi, through its official Twitter account, teased a new Mi 10-series phone. Going by the tweet, the mysterious device will feature a 700-series 5G enabled SoC. It will retail at under €300, and since the teaser came from the global Twitter account, we expect global availability.

Again, this phone will launch this September, and with only 15 days left, we expect more information about the device to have surfaced, but unfortunately, there hasn’t been any. Perhaps, Xiaomi will introduce a more affordable version of the Mi 10T series.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro have been in the news lately. According to rumors, the duo will run Snapdragon 865 Octa-Core processor, but a different camera module. While the former will sport a 64MP sensor, the latter has been tipped to feature a 108MP shooter, probably the same sensor that was used on the Mi 10 Pro.

And thanks to an Amazon listing that showed the price of the phones. The supposed Mi 10T will start at €550 while the 10T Pro will retail at €640, and that kills any hope of seeing any of the device debuts as the Xiaomi’s Mi 10-series under €300 phone.

Also, both phones are expected to run premium Snapdragon 865 SoC and not the 700-series processor. According to Xiaomi, this SoC will be brand new, which makes it confusing. There’s currently no new Qualcomm 700 chip in the works. It’s only the Snapdragon 768G that comes close, but that already runs the Redmi K30 Racing Edition – not new again, perhaps.

Would Xiaomi be introducing the Redmi K30 Racing Edition to the global market, or would there be a Mi 10T Lite? We wouldn’t be surprised seeing the former on the global market, but as things are now, there’s likely to be a Lite version of the Mi 10T. However, since the launch is probably a few days away, we will learn more about the Xiaomi’s Mi 10-series under €300 phone in the coming days.
