It’s been an eventful week for Xiaomi users with stable MIUI rollouts. Not less than ten Xiaomi phones got a Stable MIUI update this week, with most of them bringing stable Android 10. And while we wait for the company to start rolling out Android Q to the Note 7 series, the latest Redmi Note 7S update is now live.
The latest Redmi Note 7S update is arriving with a stable MIUI build and a version number v11.0.9.0 PFGINXM. It weighs 696MB and comes with a security patch update for February 2020. Also, it has introduced a new app lock feature and app Vault for music cards. Below is the full Changelog.

The Redmi Note 7S is a rebranded Note 7. It’s exclusively for the Indian market and comes with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel. There’s a notch for the 13MP selfie snapper while at the back is a dual primary 48MP sensor. The device runs Snapdragon 660 Octa-Core processor paired with either 3GB or 4GB RAM.
Outside the box, you get MIUI 10 on top Android Pie, and unfortunately, you can only update to MIUI 11 for now. We hope for the Redmi Note 7S Android Q to start arriving any time from now.
Other specs of the phone include a 4000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charge, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm headphone jack.
