The Redmi 7A received a stable Android 10 update in China a couple of days ago and is currently hitting other regions. Thus far, the global users alongside the EEA units have all receive the update while the Indian users are patiently waiting. But that’s completely normal with how Xiaomi rolls out an update, but you don’t have to wait as the Indian stable Android 10 ROM for Redmi 7A is now available for download.
The Redmi 7A Android 10 update, however, has made it to a couple of phones running the Indian ROM. It’s recommended that you manually scan for the update via the updater app before downloading the ROM from the link below.
Meanwhile, the update has a version number, MIUI 11.0.1.0 QCMINXM, and weighs in at 1.6G. It doesn’t only bring a new OS, but also bumps the Android security patch to May and improved the system security. Other changes include improved system performance and bug fixes.
