Xiaomi will introduce a new member of the Redmi K30 family tomorrow. It’s said to be the last member of the series, and since the company it’s still celebrating its tenth anniversary, it will also be known as Commemorative Edition, which comes about the name Redmi K30s Ultra.
Lei Jun, Xiaomi executive, has now confirmed that the device is a rebranded Mi 10T to bring all speculation to a halt. Hence, we expect to see a 6.67-inch LCD panel display phone with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. One of the camera sensors will feature Samsung’s 108MP shooter, while under the hood will be Snapdragon 865 SoC.
The Redmi K30s Ultra is expected to start at CNY 2,499 ($373) and will go on sale on November 11, which is the popular 11:11 China sales. And why the device is set for official unveiling tomorrow, Xiaomi has just released its first stable update.
The first stable Redmi K30s Ultra update, of course, is based on MIUI 12. It’s currently on Xiaomi’s server and would grace the device on completion of activation. As usual, it’s for system optimization, system security and stability.
Meanwhile, the update will arrive as MIUI 12.0.3.0 QJDCNXM. It’s based on Android 10 and will arrive via OTA. Nevertheless, you can still download the recovery ROM below this post, and you should be able to side-load using the recovery method.
Note: the ROM is for the Chinese Redmi K30s Ultra. Although it has almost the same development as the Mi 10T, flashing the ROM will automatically remove Google Apps from your phone, and other features that require Google play services might stop working.
