Xiaomi recently released the POCO M4 Pro 5G – the successor of last year’s POCO M3 Pro 5G. There are few upgrades, although the former users have a dual-camera sensor at the back. It has a better processor – MediaTek Dimensity 810 (6nm) 5G SOC and is paired with up to 8GB of RAM. Outside of the new, POCO M4 Pro 5G runs Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5.
The POCO M4 Pro 5G, having debuted with Android 11, is eligible for Android 12. Also, the device will get security patch support for the next three years. As usual, the first POCO M4 Pro 5G stable update has been released to the global models. Of course, the device is available on all markets with Xiaomi presences, and hence, we expect other regions to get a new update soon.
Meanwhile, the POCO M4 Pro stable update seeding for the global models comes as MIUI 12.5.2.0 RGBMIXM. It’s a security patch build to increase system security and stability. How to flash POCO M4 Pro 5G stable update
First, you need to download the recovery ROM and then move it to your device’s internal memory. After, you should head to Updater App and click on the three dots on the top left. Click choose update package and select the ROM that you downloaded. The system will verify the ROM, and once the verification is completed, the flashing will commence. There’s still no sign for the much-anticipated Android 12 upgrade months after the update started rolling out. However, we believe Xiaomi is working on the build and would soon start rolling it out.
