Google expects to reach platform stability for the Android 13 next month. To meet that target, they started the preview earlier this year, and that has seen the Android 13 beta 2 preview released for eligible Pixel phones.
The latest Android 13 beta 2 is an incremental beta-quality release as the company moves to reach platform stability next month. They are currently seeding the update to the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 4a, and Pixel 4 XL.
Of course, as a beta build, Google knows there’ll be bugs and hence, advises Pixel users to use the Android Beta Feedback app available on their devices to report bugs. You can access the feedback app from the drawer or Quick Settings. Also, you can make use of the Android Beta community on Reddit to log bugs.
Continue compatibility testing, and watch for feedback from Android Beta users. Start early testing by targeting Android 13. Notify SDK and library developers of any issues.
