We have been trying to uncover more secrets in iOS 16. Sources have related that battery percentage will be coming to the status bar via iOS 16. At the concluded WWDC2, we got to see amazing software that came into the limelight and that’s quite interesting from Apple.
Meanwhile, compared to last year’s software, this set shows a few changes. ipadOS brought new resizable app windows, Mac’s UI is sleeker, and then some other feats from iOS 16.
Finally, the battery percentage will be shown in the status bar
The iOS 16 beta 5 is now on the way paving way for more features for Apple users to try out. It is bringing in a feature that has left notched iPhones for the past 5 years now. Previously, people using notched iPhones can’t view their battery percentage on their status bar, although this wasn’t the same for some pads.
According to the brand, there isn’t enough space to display it. Users had to swipe downwards from the top right corner of their screen to view it. It was quite inconvenient and it’s exciting that the brand has taken note of this.
To access this feature, ensure you have beta 5 of the software installed on your device. After which you have to proceed to your Settings and then the battery section. You’ll be provided with a toggle that enabled you to toggle on the feature and thus allowing you to see the percentage of your battery on your status bar.
As mentioned earlier, this feature of the notched iPhone, that is, iPhone x higher. Those on iPhone 8 and older do not need access to this feat alongside some iPads and iPod users since these devices didn’t have the percentage of their batteries removed from the status bar.
