Xiaomi has improved its security patch rollout in the last couple of months. The company is probably ahead of Google when it comes to distributing the latest patch. They’re currently rolling out the latest security patch update, although the new Redmi K40s stable update is on the August patch.
The new Redmi K40s stable update has a version number MIUI 13.0.11.0 SLMCNXM and weighs 218MB. It comes with the August 2022 security patch to increase system security. Of course, system improvements, bug fixes, and new features are part of the package.
