3. To set a different time, click the drop-down menu under the Screen section. You can change the turn-off time following two scenarios
- When your laptop is on battery power.
- When your laptop is charging.

With this method, you can create several custom power plans in the Control Panel and set varying custom screen turn-off times for each of them. To change the screen turn-off time in Windows 11/10 from Control Panel, follow these steps…
1. Punch the Win+R keys to launch the Run command box.
2. Launch the Control Panel by entering Control Panel in the Run command box, and click OK.
3. Navigate to Hardware and Sound > Power Options.
4. Click on Change plan settings on the Power Options page. Alternatively, on the left, click on Choose when to turn off the display.
5. You can change the screen turn-off following two options:
- When your laptop is on battery.
- When your laptop is plugged in.
To do that, simply click on the drop-down menu beside Turn off the display, pick either of the two options above and set your timing.
6. Now click on Save Changes.
