The Xiaomi 13 series, the current flagship of Xiaomi, is off to a good start and while the Android community is still getting used to the smartphone, leaks for the Xiaomi 14 series have started surfacing and we think Xiaomi has an amazing piece of tech up their sleeves.
What does the Xiaomi 14 series leak say?
The leak on the Xiaomi 14 series didn’t give the exact details or specs to expect of the smartphone probably because it was a piece of attached information that came with the news on the expected period of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 debut.
Earlier sources claimed that Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, would launch sooner than normal. A second leak from a different source has now revealed a more precise release date for the SoC as well as information on Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship range, the Xiaomi 14 series.
WhyLab has disclosed that Qualcomm plans to introduce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in October. This confirms prior predictions that the processor would launch a few weeks sooner than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 did in mid-November last year. Naturally, this has little to no real implications for the sector, but it probably also indicates that Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phones may start to appear sooner this year.
This is where – maybe – the Xiaomi 14 series will come in. The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to be one of the devices to use the chipset. According to the same source, the next-generation Xiaomi flagship phones would be released earlier than their predecessors.
The Xiaomi 13 series was supposed to be released on December 1 in China, but it was delayed until December 11, most likely owing to the death of Chinese senior statesman Jiang Zemin. With that in mind, the Xiaomi 14 series might be released in China in November.
