Details from the Google Pixel 8 renders

If this renders leak checks out, the smaller phone in the Pixel 8 series will feature the same rounded edges with minimum left and right bezels, according to OnLeaks’ Google Pixel 8 renders. The bottom bezel is visible, while the top bezel conceals a speaker. The phone(with a 6.2-inch screen) measures 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm, which is 5.1mm shorter, 2.4mm narrower, and .2mm thinner than the Pixel 7. Another comparison is with the 6.1-inch Pixel 6a, which has the same thickness but is 1.7mm shorter and 1mm narrower.

On the back, we have a bigger camera pill that is considerably closer to the top and bottom of the bar than it is currently. The rear-facing microphone and flash are located next to it. In the Pixel 8, there is no extra camera bar sensor, which may be LIDAR from the Pro. The camera bar, like on the Pixel 7, integrates into the side frame, which seems shinier in these models. The power and volume controls remain on the right edge.

Nevertheless, similar to how Google’s Pro phones have had a telephoto lens for the previous two years, this smaller handset will miss that third camera and the identification sensor, widening the specs difference. Otherwise, the Pixel 8 should have the same Tensor G3 processor and twin camera array as the Pixel 7. So there you have it, the Google Pixel 8 renders. Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro this fall and we’ll keep you updated should we see any other Google Pixel 8 renders or information on new Google Pixel devices before the debut.
