With the release of MIUI 14, Xiaomi improved the performance and stability of MIUI. And while we have seen few bug reports compared to what it used to be, some issues are still surfacing. The latest MIUI weekly bug report has highlighted these problems, providing the possible cause and solutions.

MIUI weekly bug report Vol.119

In the latest episode, POCO users seem to be the most affected. The POCO Launcher seems not to be working for some people using the POCO F3 and POCO X3 Pro with build numbers MIUI 14.0.7.0 TKHMINXM and MIUI 14.0.1.0 TJURUXM, respectively.

The POCO Launcher not responding Issues is currently being looked at, and so far, the cause has not been ascertained. We recommend downloading the latest version of the Launcher while Xiaomi works on a fix.

Internet Problem / No Signal

POCO M4 Pro / Redmi Note 11S, POCO M3, and Redmi 9T users are reporting No internet / Signal issues. The problem is exclusive to Iran and Indonesian regions, respectively. Unfortunately, Xiaomi is still analyzing to determine the cause, and hopefully, they’ll roll out a fixed build soon.

Netflix HD issue

Xiaomi Pad 6 users in India running MIUI 14.0.2.0 TMZINXM are having issues playing back videos on Netflix in HD. If you’re having the problem, you can check here on how to fix Widevine L1 certificate issues, while we wait for an official fix from Xiaomi.

Instagram Photo issues

Xiaomi Note Redmi 12 users are reporting Photo blur when sharing to Instagram. The issue seems to affect users running MIUI 14.0.9.0 TMTMIXM. Unfortunately, nothing has been said about how to resolve it, but the company is currently working on a fix. In the meantime, you can check for a new update on the Play store, and also, clear the app cache.

Carousell App can’t log-on

Feedback has been sent to the app developers as they keep working on a fix. The latest update didn’t address the issue and you might skip it if you’re yet to install it. According to Xiaomi, the issue is affecting users running V14.0.1.0.TMAMIXM, V14.0.2.0.TMAMIXM on their Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

Multi-touch issue

The issue is exclusive to Xiaomi 12 Lite users running MIUI 14.0.4.0 TLIIDXM. Xiaomi are currently analysing the problem and will roll out a fix once everything is concluded. We expect a fixed build to arrive in the coming weeks. Also, you can check the updater app to see if there’s a new update.
