A new Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite update starts seeding as Android 11 looms

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite first arrived in Europe before heading to China as a reworked Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. It has now arrived in India, under the Mi 10i moniker with a primary 108MP camera. The device runs MIUI 12 on top of Android 10 outside-of-the-box, and that makes it eligible for MIUI 12.5 and Android 11. Xiaomi is already sending out the former to eligible phones as a beta build but excluded the Mi 10T Lite (Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G) because of a major Android upgrade (Android 11). They tend to start rolling out the update to the Chinese models very soon, which will no doubt, confirm imminent global arrival.

However, the update would first arrive for closed beta testers. They’ll receive the new Android OS alongside the MIUI 12.5 update in China. And while we expect it to start rolling out in the next few days, a new Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite update has been released for European users. The update brings the December 2020 security patch and improved system security and stability. It also optimized system performance and fixed some minor bugs.

The new Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite updates comes in about 271MB package, with a version number MIUI 12.0.8.0 QJSEUXM. It’s a limited rollout at the moment but will arrive for more users in the coming days if no performance threatening bugs are detected. But there’s always a way to get ahead of time when it comes to MIUI Recovery ROM. You can make use of the links below to download both the recovery and OTA ROM.
