Android 13 Beta 3.1 released with bug fixes

The Android 13 Beta 2 was released recently and it packed some cool features like Bluetooth Audio LE support, sleek feats like a new developer toggle, animation tweaks, battery optimization, taskbar and media player enhancements and a lot more. However, Android 13 Beta 3.1 is already on the rollout and it comes with little enhancements to existing features and some new ones too.

According to sources, we should be expecting 6 beta releases of the Android 13 before the final consumer launch scheduled for later this year. The Android 13 Beta 3 was released earlier, but the Android Beta 3.1 was disbursed to fix a particular issue. 

The new release comes to fix the issue where users can’t get the Android Beta Feedback app, that is, it was not available for some owners. According to sources, the users affected by this issue are the new beta users. However, on installing Android Beta 3.1, the issues faced in Beta 3 are still found. 

How to get Android 13 Beta 3.1

Beta 3.1 has B1 added to the existing build number, that is, TPB3.220513.017.B1 and users can now manually install the factory and OTA images, although the actual device OTA isn’t available yet. Meanwhile here is a list of compatible devices with the release:

  • Pixel 4 XL
  • Pixel 4a
  • Pixel 4a 5G
  • Pixel 5
  • Pixel 5a
  • Pixel 6
  • Pixel 6 pro
