It has only been a couple of months since the stable MIUI 13 was released. The upgrade, which is rolling out with Android 12, has only made it to a handful of users, but that hasn’t stopped developers from bringing new changes. According to Counterpoint, the Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Redmi 9 were the only phones from the Chinese company on the top 10 best-selling smartphones of 2021. The list dominated by Apple’s iPhone has the Redmi 9A at number 7, while the Redmi 9 took the number 10 spot. That’s not surprising as the Redmi 9 series made up 22% of Xiaomi’s total sales last year, meaning the device is quite popular.
