Xiaomi sub-brand POCO officially announced its latest sub-flagship phone – POCO F4, a couple of days ago. The device is a rebadged Redmi K40s with few improvements in the primary camera sensor. Aside from that, the specs are similar, while a POCO crest differentiates the two phones.
The POCO F4 is a well-built phone with a sleek design. It features front and back glass, with the former, a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. At the back is a triple camera arrangement – 64MP snapper with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensor. The front camera has a single 20MP capable of 1080@30fps.
Of course, that is a substantial camera upgrade compared to the predecessor – POCO F3. We expect a decent camera outcome, but we believe Gcam on the POCO F4 will deliver a better result. Interestingly, the device supports the latest Gcam 8.4, bringing a slew of new features.
The latest Gcam 8.4.600 mod works on the POCO F4 and brings the Material You design. Also, shots taken with the camera are top-notch with full details. Even in a low-light environment, the Gcam on the POCO F4 guarantees detailed photos.
Nevertheless, you can download older Gcam versions on the device. The Gcam 8.3, 8.2, and 8.1 are all working on the device. Luckily, you can test all the Gcam ports and then decide on the best one.
