Google Camera app, popularly known as Gcam, is the best camera app out there and comes pre-installed with Google Pixel phones. The latest version – Gcam 8.0 – debuted alongside the Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G with lots of impressive features. Some of them include a quick zoom toggle, quick access for video modes, a new icon for video recording, an automatic DND mode while using video-recording, 24FPS video recording, 4K@60fps video recording, and more.
Naturally, the Google camera app (Gcam) doesn’t work on non-Pixel phones, except you’re lucky to download and install the mod. Luckily, and thanks to XDA senior member Arnova862, the Gcam mod 8.0 is now available for download on your Xiaomi Android phones.
Unfortunately, not all Xiaomi devices can use this latest Gcam mod 8.0. According to our source, the app can only work on about 12 Xiaomi phones at the moment. However, we expect support for more Xiaomi phones that are not on the list below in the future.
