Last week, Xiaomi released Android 10 for the European users of Mi A3 devices. The update, which is arriving in batch, is still on and will arrive through OTA eventually. Meanwhile, arriving with the update is an updated Google security patch for April, Smart Reply, Gesture Navigation, Dark theme, and Digital wellbeing and parental control. However, there have been some reported bugs, which include the following;
- The icons are big and “ugly”
- Battery draining faster
- Camera quality dropped
- The phone is laggy ( even after factory reset)
- Customize your ” Customize your Mi A3 bubble” in settings
- Notification light for missed phone calls not working
- The phone freeze after the update
Amidst all the reported bugs, most users that already upgraded believe the update is safe. Besides, it has been five days since the update started arriving, and no one has complained of additional bugs or stress about any of the bugs reported.
Nevertheless, if you experience any issue after you manually download EEA Mi A3 Android 10 ROM and flash, you should perform a factory reset to fix the issues. Or you can wait for a fix update, which will more or less arrive with the May Google security patch.
