Today, Instagram has loads of funny videos that you would want to download and show to your friends, but because the app doesn’t have a download button, that makes it a bit hard. However, you can now download Instagram videos using the Telegram app.
Telegram remains one of the most popular apps because of its features. It’s interesting to see that one of these features is the ability to download Instagram videos. If you have a Telegram account and the app installed on your device, you won’t need any other app to download your favorite Instagram videos.
However, you can only download public Instagram videos using the Telegram app. Any video set to private wouldn’t be accessible by the Telegram bot, meaning you won’t be able to download it. But you hardly see any on Instagram, which is the reason you should try this method.
Download Instagram videos using the Telegram app
- If you have the Telegram app installed on your device, then head over to Instagram to copy the link to the video you wish to download
- On the Instagram video that you want to download, click on the share button and tap on “copy link”
- Head to Telegram, tap on the three lines on the top left of your screen and click on saved messages
- Paste the Instagram video link you copied and then remove “www.” and replace it with “dd”
- Tap on the send button
- To save the video to your phone, click the three dots on the video and tap Save to Gallery
- Your video will be saved to your Gallery, and you can access it from there at any time
