Xiaomi is now sending out a fresh MIUI 12 update to the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 7. The first build, which arrived as MIUI 12.0.1.0 QFQCNXM was months ago, and now, more users on the Chinese branch of MIUI are expected to receive the update finally.
It’s been a welcoming past few days with the Redmi Note 9S and Redmi Note 8 global version receiving the stable MIUI 12 update after a long wait. But unfortunately, it’s still frustrating times for those Redmi Note 7 users on global ROM. We hope they receive the same treatment as the others, which will see the MIUI 12 update released for the device.
Meanwhile, the fresh MIUI 12 update for the Redmi Note 7 is arriving as MIUI 12.0.2.0 QFGCNXM. Coming along with the update is optimization for the control center layout in landscape mode. Of course, it also optimized system performance, fixed bugs, but the public will have to wait a little longer for the public rollout to commence.
As for when the global version of the device will start receiving stable MIUI 12 updates, the truth is that no one knows. Probably, that particular version needs optimization before it will be ready for deployment.
