The lastest phone to start getting the Android 14-based HyperOS update is the POCO M5. It is the global units that are getting the much-anticipated upgrade, which is currently exclusive to limited users for preview.

It has been only a few hours since we reported the POCO X6 Pro 5G HyperOS update release, and the Global POCO M5 Android 14-based HyperOS is now available. The update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.2.0.ULUMIXM

As expected, the update introduced the HyperOS features, which included a new animation language. Also, it revamped the control center and redesigned the weather app. New system fonts and home screen icons were introduced, while connectivity and security have improved. 

Of course, the update delivers Android 14 while bumping the Android security patch level to December 2023 to increase system security and stability. You can check for that update via the updated app or download the Recovery ROM below if you have an authorized Mi Bet account.

A new update is rolling out for the POCO M5 Globally. The latest release has a version number OS1.0.3.0.ULUMIXM. It brings the March 2024 security patch level to increase system security and stability. Also, the update has improved performance and resolved bugs reported after the first HyperOS release.
