The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G/POCO M3 Pro 5G debuted running Android 11 on top of MIUI 12. Xiaomi released the same period it announced the Redmi Note 10 series. Of course, the latter received MIUI 12.5 months ago, while that Redmi Note 10 5G recently got the build in China. And going by the recent reports, the global Redmi Note 10 5G / POCO M3 Pro 5G MIUI 12.5 update has been released.
Xiaomi is currently seeding the global Redmi Note 10 5G / POCO M3 Pro 5G MIUI 12.5 update to Mi Pilots. The update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RKSMIXM. It has introduced features of the MIUI version, and hence, gesture response has become instant. There has been an improvement in the device’s custom model adjustments, rendering power, and optimization.
Aside from introducing the features, which are essentially an improvement, the update has addressed some bugs. However, the third-party launcher compatibility issue is still there, meaning you’ll continue using the MIUI launcher. Meanwhile, the update has revamped the control center and notification panel, making it seamless to reply to messages.
The update has bumped the Android security patch level to September 2021 to increase system security and stability. As usual, it’s a limited rollout at the moment, but you can download the ROM via the link below.
