More Xiaomi phones are picking up the Android 13-based MIUI 14 update, with the Global Redmi Note 11 NFC, the latest to receive the upgrade. The rollout is limited to Mi Pilot members to preview the build before it starts rolling out to the public. However, you can use the link below to download the Recovery ROM and install it manually.
The Global Redmi Note 11 NFC MIUI 14 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 14.0.2.0 TGKMIXM and weighs 3.4GB. It comes with a stable MIUI based on Android 13, May 2023 security patch, and improved system security. Also, it advances search in settings with search history and category looking crisper.
As expected, the update introduced the Photon Engine to optimize power consumption and memory usage. The New Widget format allows more combinations on the screen, and Super Icons are also part of the package. Bug fixes and optimizations are part of the update, but that didn’t stop new bugs from surfacing.
Early reports suggest new bugs surface after upgrading to MIUI 14. Although they are minor issues, we recommend checking these bugs before installing the Global Redmi Note 11 NFC MIUI 14 update. If you decide to continue with the installation, you should back up your data before proceeding.
Again, the update is exclusive to beta testers, meaning installing the Recovery ROM might trigger an error message.
