A new Global Redmi Note 9S MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update available. Download below…
Xiaomi has released the global Redmi Note 9S MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update to fortify the device ahead of the stable MIUI 13 release. The company will announce the next iteration of MIUI on December 28. They’ll release the stable version immediately after the unveiling, and it makes sense to start fortifying the device that’ll receive the update. Luckily, the Redmi Note 9S is eligible for the update, and we recommend you download the current build.
A handful of Xiaomi phones will receive the stable MIUI 13 with Android 12 after the launch event. Unfortunately, the Redmi Note 9S won’t get both builds simultaneously. Xiaomi will probably upgrade the device to MIUI 13 before rolling out the Android 12 update if the device is eligible. And with the Global Redmi Note 9S MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update, the company plans to improve performance and stability ahead of the next release.
It’s unclear when the Redmi Note 9S MIUI 13 update will be released, but we are optimistic about Q2 2022. Hence, it becomes necessary to download the current build to fortify your device for future upgrades. The update has a version number – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RJWMIXM and weighs 620MB. As expected, it comes with features of the current MIUI build. It also bumps the Android security patch level to increase system security and stability.
Meanwhile, the global Redmi Note 9S MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update is a limited release. It’s exclusive to Mi Pilots but would be available to the public in the coming days. You can download the ROM via the links below for manual installation.
