It has been a long wait, but it’s worth it. The MIUI 12 brings a lot of improvement and optimization, which has taken users’ experience to a whole new level. And even though the company is already on the next iteration of its Android skin, they’re still improving the current one. A couple of days ago, they rolled out a screen combo feature, which allows the interaction of your phone via the PC. Also, the new MIUI Alpha launcher that introduces a new option to recent.
Now, the global users of the Redmi Note 7 can enjoy all these amazing features and more. The update, which started arriving this morning, has a build number, MIUI 12.0.1.0 QFGMIXM. It’s a partial release, and as such, only selected users are going to receive the update for now, but we hope in the next few days that it will be ready for public release.
The global stable MIUI 12 update for the Redmi Note 7, as expected, arrives with all the features of MIUI 12, which include Dark Mode, Floating Windows, Revamped System UI, New System Animation, New camera Functions, and New control center. As for the super wallpaper, it can be activated manually via this link, and here on how to activate the new control center.
To scan for the update, navigate to System Updates, or follow the download links below. And if you encounter any issue flashing the update manually, exercise patience, and check back later.
