Global Xiaomi 11 Android 14 HyperOS update is now available
More Xiaomi phones continue to upgrade eligible phones to Android 14 with HyperOS as the company plans for Android 15. We expect the company to start testing the next Android OS this month after the official announcement at the May l/O event. Ahead of the release, Global Xiaomi 11 Android 14 HyperOS is available for download.
It has been a few days since the Xiaomi 11 Android 14 HyperOS update arrived in Europe. The update is now rolling out for global users with a version number OS1.0.2.0.UKBMIXM and weighs 5.0 GB. As expected, it comes with all the HyperOS features, a stable HyperOS based on Android 14, and a March 2024 security patch level.
In addition, there is a new animation language to make interactions with the device “wholesome and intuitive.” You will get a new system font, a redesigned weather app, new home screen icons, and more. Meanwhile, backup your data before installing the update, as there have been cases of bugs after the upgrade.
As usual, it will take a few days before the update becomes available for everyone, but with an authorized Mi Beta account, you can install the Recovery ROM. While waiting for the OTA, ensure your bootloader is locked.
