Global Xiaomi 12T Android 14 HyperOS update is now rolling out

Global Xiaomi 12T Android 14 HyperOS update has started rolling out. The update is seeding for limited users globally, with the public release expected in the coming weeks. However, you can download the Recovery ROM and install it manually on your Xiaomi 12T.

Xiaomi has only started rolling out the Xiaomi 12T Android 14 HyperOS update, though the device was supposed to receive the update last month. Perhaps, since it upgraded to Android 14 with MIUI 14, extra time was needed to release the HyperOS update. The upgrade is now available for global users, while other regions will start getting it in the coming days.

The global Xiaomi 12T Android 14 update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.5.0.ULQMIXM and weighs 1.5GB. You will receive a bigger-sized package if you are still on Android 13. As expected, the update delivers a new security patch and features of HyperOS. These include new animation language, system fonts, a revamped weather app and control center, new home screen icons, and in-house multi-rendering technology.

Again, the update is rolling out to Mi Pilots for preview and will take about two weeks before everyone can get it. Installing the update manually will result in an error “ROM is in beta testing, make sure you have signed in with a beta-authorized Xiaomi account.” We recommend waiting for the OTA and also ensure your bootloader is locked
