Xiaomi recently released the successor of last year’s Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro. Unlike last year’s series, the vanilla Xiaomi 11T features a MediaTek processor, while the Pro version features the Snapdragon Octa-Core SOC. Both phones have impressive camera hardware while maintaining the triple rear camera setup from last year.
The primary 108MP sensor is paired with an 8MP Ultra-wide angle and 5MP depth sensor. With such camera hardware and optimizations made on the stock camera software, there’s no doubt the Xiaomi 11T will take exquisite shots. But as always, with Google Camera on Xiaomi 11T, you have more options and can take better shots.
Unfortunately, there are only a few Gcam mods that work on the device. That’s, perhaps, because of the Mediatek processor, but thanks to Developers like Urnyx05 and BSG. The latest Gcam 8.1 will work on that newly released Xiaomi 11T.

How to download and install Google Camera on Xiaomi 11T
- Step 1. Download the working Gcam mod for Xiaomi 11T
- Download from here
- Step 2. Locate the downloaded APK file on your device and tap to start the installation
- You might be asked to allow installation from an unknown source. Then head over to Settings and use the search tab to locate “install unknown apps.” You will have to enable the toggle
- Step 3. Go back and complete your installation, and that’s it.
Currently, the latest Gcam 8.1 by BSG is the mod working on the device. Hopefully, developers will bring more support for the device in the coming weeks or months.
