It’s been weeks since Apple debuted the iPhone 14 series. The devices aren’t much of an upgrade from the predecessor as it features minor refinement. That includes the replacement of physical Sim with eSim, which according to reports, is having some issues.
Like most newly released phones, the iPhone 14 has had its fair share of bugs. A few weeks after launch, the device experienced a serious camera issue, and while that has been resolved, a new bug has surfaced.
As reported by MacRumors, users are experiencing Sim not supported issues on their iPhone 14. Apparently, the device seems to freeze in some cases after displaying the message.
How to resolve the Sim not supported issue
According to Apple, the issue isn’t related to the eSim hardware, and it’s what the company can address with a software update. The company recommends installing any available update on your device, as that might resolve the issue.
Also, you can wait for the “Sim not supported” message to go away automatically. If that doesn’t work, Apple recommends taking the device to a certified service provider or Apple store.
Hopefully, the upcoming Apple iOS 16.1 will address this bug and other issues affecting the iPhone 14 series phones. You can follow us on Telegram for more news on Apple.
