Google has started pushing Android 11 beta 1 to its Pixel phones, and it’s expected that non Pixel phones will start getting the update soon. Xiaomi, in that regard, has announced that it will soon release Android 11 beta for Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The sub-brand, POCO, also confirmed that its premium device, POCO F2 Pro will be getting the update as well.
All Xiaomi phones so far confirmed to receive the Android 11 update are all premium devices running Snapdragon 865 SoC. But that doesn’t mean that mid-range devices won’t be getting the update. Xiaomi, as a company that releases multiple smartphones every year will need time to push the update to all eligible devices.
The update will arrive as a part of MIUI 12 for some Xiaomi phones, and that’s because the company is yet to complete the Android 10 rollout. Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 7, Redmi 7, among other Xiaomi mid-range phones, are yet to receive the Android 10 update, and it’s believed to arrive with MIUI 12.
We know the features of MIUI 12 and that of Android 11. As such, we know the changes that will be coming with the updates to Xiaomi phones. But one thing most people don’t know is the Xiaomi phones that will receive Android 11. Below is the list of Xiaomi phones that will receive Android 11 update, probably with MIUI 12.
