Samsung released the May 2022 security patch last month with the Galaxy S22 series in India. The company has since extended the rollout to Europe and US, with other devices also getting the update. They’re currently rolling out the May 2022 security patch for Galaxy S10 series in Europe.
The Galaxy S10 series phones are getting the update with a firmware version G97xFXXUFHVE1. It’s available for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, and Galaxy S10e, while the Galaxy S10 5G is getting the build as G977BXXUCHVE1.
At the time of writing, the update is exclusive to European users. Those in Switzerland are getting the build currently, and we expect an expansion to other countries in the coming days.
According to Google’s May 2022 security patch bulletin, the current patch addressed over 33 privacy and security vulnerabilities. It improved performance and security, and there might be additional features. You can navigate to Settings and force the update if you’re in Europe.
