Meizu M15 Plus specifications

Meizu will be marking it’s 15 years anniversary with Meizu M15 series. The company has officially announced the Meizu M15 plus Specifications, along with Meizu M15 and M15 Lite.

It debuted with a 5.95-inch display, Exynos 8895 Octa-core chipset, 6GB RAM, 12MP + 20MP primary cameras and 20MP selfie snapper, Fingerprint, 3500mAh battery, fast charge technology, LTE.

Display

Sports 5.95-inch super AMOLED 16:9 capacitive touchscreen of 1440 x 2560p resolution. Onboard the display is 494pixel density for clarity with support for multitouch and over 16M colors. For protection, there is 2.5D Glass to protect against scratch and mild falls.

Processor

Powered by Exynos 8895 Octa-core (4 x 2.5 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4 x 1.8GHz Cortex-A53), Chipset. It is coupled with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU and 6GB RAM for optimized and light speed CPU performance. Out of the box,  Meizu M15 Plus will run Android OS 7.1.2 (Nougat) based on Flyme UI 7.0.

Storage

Meizu M15 Plus debuted with variable memory configuration, ranging from 64GB to 128GB which will also determine the price tag. There is also a space for memory expansion using MicroSD card up to 256GB. (Uses sim 2 slot).

Camera

Onboard Meizu M15 Plus is a total of 3 cameras, with 12MP (f/1.8 aperture lens, 1/2.3″sensor size, 1.55um pixel size) plus 20MP sub sensor (f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.8″ sensor size, 1.0um pixel size) sensor placed at the back featuring dual pixel phase and laser detection autofocus, and six- LED dual-tone flash.

Other features include Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, wide angle, and HDR.
On the front snapper are 20MP, f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and 1080p video recording.

Security

Comes with front mounted fingerprint identification scanner, located below the front panel. The scanner is highly optimized for 0.1s unlock time and would also serve as navigation button.

Onboard the slim body of Meizu M15 Plus 3500 mAh Non-removable Li-ion battery, which charges with type-C USB cable. It also supports Fast-charge technology (mCharge 4.0 “24W)
