Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro get Android 12 with a stable MIUI 13 in India

Google is targeting next month to reach Android 13 platform stability, meaning there won’t be any changes going forward. We expect the stable version of the upcoming OS to start seeding soon, while some phones are yet to receive Android 12. That is the case of Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro in India, as the device has been waiting for the upgrade for months.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro Android 12 update arrived a couple of weeks ago in Europe before making its way to the global models. It’s now available for the eligible devices in India bearing the software version number MIUI 13.0.4.0 SJDINXM. As expected, the update brings all the expected features while bumping the Android security patch level to increase system security and stability.

Arriving with the package includes a permission notification that alerts you when an app is accessing your camera, microphone, or location. The update delivers new customizations and improvements, while you can now open apps as a floating window from the sidebar.

Meanwhile, there have been reports of “NO SIGNAL” after upgrading the device to MIUI 13. That probably delayed the rollout in other regions, but we understand the bug is fixed. Perhaps, a fix for the issue is among the current build rolling in India. Nevertheless, we recommend backing up your data before installing the update.
