Xiaomi has started pushing the Mi CC9 Pro / Mi Note 10 stable MIUI 12.5 update in China. The device debuted with Android 9 on top of MIUI 11 and has picked up two Android OS on the road: Android 10 and 11. It picked a stable MIUI 12 update sometime last year, while the latest iteration of MIUI has just been released for the units in China. That’s a bit of good news for Mi Note 10 / Pro users, meaning the update could start seeding for them soon as both phones have the same development.
Xiaomi launched the Mi CC9 Pro in China in November 2019. It was the first device that commercially debuted the 108MP camera sensor. And after some days, they launched the phone globally as Xiaomi Mi Note 10 / Pro. Apparently, both phones are the same except for a few tweaks, meaning you can flash the latest Mi CC9 Pro build on your Mi Note 10.
However, the Google framework has been disabled in MIUI 12.5, and only two language options are available on Chinese ROM: English and Chinese. We’ll recommend you wait for the global release, which could start rolling in the next few weeks. However, if you opt out to flash the ROM, we have a link below this post to download.
The Mi CC9 Pro / Mi Note 10 stable MIUI 12.5 update is hitting eligible users with a version number – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RFDCNXM. It comes in a 970MB package alongside the features of the new MIUI OS. With MIUI 12.5, you can uninstall some system apps while power consumption and background memory usage have been reduced. Of course, there are other fascinating features, but they’re an improvement to the system. Check the full features of MIUI 12.5 here.
