Latest update: Redmi 7 starts receiving MIUI 10.3.5.0 PFLMIXM stable ROM
Redmi announced the Redmi 7 on March this year running Android Pie out-of-the-box on top MIUI 10. The device under the hood has Snapdragon 632 and has been months since it received a stable update. Perhaps, the wait might be to push the MIUI 11 update, which is going official on September 24 in China, at the official launch of MI Mix 4 and MI 9 Pro.
Unfortunately, our guess was wrong as the device starts receiving a stable update coming with a version number, MIUI 10.3.5.0 PFLMIXM. The update is for global Stable ROM and is based on Android Pie (Android 9). However, we can confidently guarantee that after the introduction of MIUI 11, the device will be among the first Redmi device to receive the Android 10.
As usual, the MIUI 10.3.5.0 PFLMIXM is coming with some system optimization, stability, and it has also optimized the system fluency. The Android Security Patch got updated as well to improve system security.
