And after nearly one year later, the device received a stable update to fortify it for the MIUI 12 upgrade. The MIUI 12 update for the Redmi Note 5/5Pro has since been released for a selected few. It’s now available for the public, and you should be able to upgrade successfully.
The update arrived with a version number, MIUI 12.0.2.0 PEIMIXM, and weighs in at 697MB. From the version number, it’s for the global ROM users and is based on Android 9. It brings the features of MIUI 12, bug fixes, and system optimization. Below is the full Changelog:
